PANdæmonium is the capital of Hell in John Milton’s epic poem Paradise Lost. 

John Milton invented the name in Paradise Lost (1667), as “A solemn Council forthwith to be held at Pandæmonium, the high Capitol, of Satan and his Peers” (1.754-756), which was built by the fallen angels at the suggestion of Mammon.

PANopticon – a circular prison with cells arranged around a central well, from which prisoners could at all times be observed.

PANoptes – a Greek term meaning “ALL-SEEING“. It is most famously associated with Argus Panoptes, a hundred-eyed giant in Greek mythology.
